They are good to start with, unfortunately didn’t come with shims to tighten canvas.

I get these canvas sets for my son every Christmas, Birthday, etc…he is an oil painter and absolutely glows when I get him this set. The different sizes are key…he can create so many different paintings and everyone just loves them. Great value!!!!
