Kettlebell Exercises
One Handed Kettlebell Swing
After mastering the Two Handed Kettlebell Swing, this exercise will help strengthen the upper back, improve grip strength and core muscles. The single arm kettlebell swing is more comfortable than the two arm kettlebell swing, but take caution while performing this exercise because bad form may cause an injury. Perfect your two handed swing before attempting this exercise.
Kettlebell Renegade Row
Target your core and back muscle by performing the kettlebell renegade row exercise. Start at the top of a push up position and row the kettlebell up towards the side of your body while balancing on your feet and other hand. Hold the kettlebell at the top position for a second and slowly lower the kettlebell down to the floor. Repeat on the opposite side. Make sure to keep your shoulder blades together and your back straight during this exercise.
Kettlebell Upright Row
To perform the upright row, start in a standing position with your feet shoulder width apart. Bend over to grab the kettlebell ensuring that your hips are slightly pushed back and your body is tipped forward. With both hands, grip the handle of the kettlebell and pull the weight off the ground. In a controlled movement, pull the bell up to shoulder height. Hold this position and then slowly lower the kettlebell back to the start position.

The kettlebell itself is great. I have a few different sizes and they all feel good although the grip is a little thick. Snag one if you see it for less than $1 per pound. That said, these don't ship well and I'm sure the drivers curse the people that order the heavy ones. The manufacturer doesn't pack these appropriately and the heavier ones may show up a little chipped and holding down what was left of the carboard container.

I ordered several CAP Barbell Black Cast Kettlebells. Two had some cosmetic scrapes. I emailed CAP customer service and within a day they had shipped replacements by FedExpress. I appreciate their great customer service. I have purchased weight equipment from CAP in the past and have always been satisfied with their quality. A fitness guru recommended this brand to me. It is not covered in vinyl which is good. Vinyl discolours and tears after a while. This is a simple product, well made and will last forever by the looks of it. Great for home work outs.

It’s a nice piece of equipment after learning proper form and a couple exercises. The kettlebell itself is very nice quality for the price. It feels good to use and I use it on vacation as it is very portable. Aesthetically looks nice as well not super flashy it’s just a ball of iron with a handle and I’m good with that. Hasn’t rusted even when I forgot to pack it up after a workout and it rained during the night. It must have some special coating protecting the cast iron which is nice. If you have just gotten into strength training I would recommend because you will be able to get a workout in anywhere that will make you sweat and give you that muscle soreness you crave.
