First let's do the good:- It fits nicely and tight which is what you'd expect of something that's meant to stretch with your body.- Color is a nice firm black. I've have Capezio leos before in this particular fabric and color so I can tell you for a fact that it did not stretch, fade, pill or in anyway deform. It actually keeps its form while getting somewhat softer without losing it's firmness. Also, it dries quickly.- it's very modest which for someone my age (36) is very welcome and for any dancer out there who needs to practice in front of others, Im sure it's an added bonus. It covers the hips, butt, chest and underarms. I don't feel it gets in the way of MY workout. Others might feel differently.- it doesn't ride up even with the tights on. Yay!!The bad:- It fits tightly around the underarms.- it's a little longer that I'd want on the hips. About a 1/4 of an inch. (not a really big deal, it's just a matter of looks. Im a bit anal)- the fabric is not as soft and organic as cotton would be, so be informed in case it's a deal breaker. Not for me.Ok, the "bad" listed above, is merely a list of observations to keep in mind when ordering. To me, they're not really issues but they might be for others. It does fit a bit tight but in it's defense, Im 1 year postpartum and still coming off the baby weight. Im 36 y/o, 5'8 and weigh 142 lbs. Im normally a size S so I decided to stick with it even though an M might be recommended. This was because I started this new routine which is making me drop the weight quite quickly and a bigger Leo in this fabric will chafe me and cause a bit of a tan burn on the seams area. (I have sensitive skin) As the weight comes off, that issue is resolved. Also, I like the tight feel, so it depend of personal tastes. In all, I'd recommend it. I will get another one like this except I'd like it with 3/4 sleeves.

Great leotard. Nice material and well made. It's lined so it's opaque even in the light pink color. My 9 year old is 4'7" and 85#, wearing size 10-12 in children's street clothes.I had the hardest time sizing her for a leopard. We started with kids size 10, 12, 14... None fit. Then tried women size XS which was still too tight. Finally she was happy with women's size S.If you are not sure and need a leotard right away, go to the store so you can find the fit your prefer.

I used to be able to find leotards everywhere, I ordered a different Capezio Leotard in early June, the size was wrong, to small and cut into me. I ordered the black short sleeved leotards with my favorite shelf bras, same size as the different Capezio leotards and they fit great. Capezio needs to honest in description of their products. I hate ordering things online and having them not accurately labeled with correct sizing,

I am 5'4", 120 lbs with a C cup. This leotard looks pretty good on me, but a medium feels pretty tight. My shoulders are a bit broad and my torso is a bit long in proportion to my arms and legs, so if you are built like me then I would suggest sizing up. The elastic at the legs cuts into my medium-sized bottom a bit too tight as well . The texture of the fabric is smooth, but not really soft. The color is true to the picture and this leotard is well-made. I bought it for a costume, but it looks as though it would hold up after lots of washes.

This being my first official leotard Ann it fitting me so well even though I require one of the largest sizes but it still looks flattering is absolutely amazing. I'm getting back into my dance an I felt like I needed the outfit to complete the look and attitude of it so the fact that it stretches just enough but fits me in a very flattering way is absolutely perfect. I'm happy that I read the reviews or else I would have gone a size too small or size too large so if you're looking for the right size definitely look at the reviews Ann base your body type on that. I haven't watched it yet but I can tell it's pretty good quality for the price and getting it on and off is very very simple. Also the fact that it comes in several colors I will definitely be buying much more colors because the black one is perfect so I expect the other colors to be just as good if not better!!

I am 5'7 - 130lbs - 34B - 26 WAIST - 37 HIPThe material is strong. The material is thick. I can wear a white bra underneath and it does NOT show through. The material does not snag. The material does not soak in water (easy to clean up a spill). The Leotard itself is sewn well (no loose strings, hems, etc.)The Leotard fits as expected.- It is SLIGHTLY tight around the arms, but I wouldn't recommend going a size up.- I have a large toosh, but the Leotard fit around my bottom perfectly. It keeps it covered.- The Leotard does not flare or bunch up.- The Leotard down not stretch out in the back or stomach region.- The Leotard does not give me a camel toe or hug my lower region too tight.- If you match my measurements (given at the top of review), then I recommend buying the Large. Do not size up or down.I will be purchasing more colors in the future.

Nothing really issue when wearing it, just feel so comfortable wearing it together with the ballet pink tights under it. Just like the feeling putting it on and don’t really want to take it off anymore

Love Capezio for quality well designed basics like this. It is a wardrobe staple for me. No, not just for dance. But be aware the sizing is dainty. Designed for dancers. So if you are curvy you might need to size up or look elsewhere.Wish they made more colours. More choice of skin tones plus every day hard wearing hard working neutrals like grey and charcoal would be lovely.

Just like the photo. I got the pink short sleeve leotard and it's so soft, comfy, lined, and true to size. I have a long torso so usually it's hard to nail the size on the first try but I did (I'm 5'7 132lbs and went with the Large). It's also really comfy on the bum and don't feel like I have to keep adjusting it while I'm in class. 10/10 recommend!
