My 4 year old daughter is still getting the hang of doing this on her own, but she's mostly got it. The size of the stamped fabric is perfect for her little hands, and the image is super cute! The quality is good, as well. Just don't forget your rings, which don't come with the kit. Also, many reviewers complained about there not being enough thread but it's simply not true. You'll notice that there are 6 threads bundled together at a time. It's up to you to select just one floss/thread from this bundle and either cut it short or keep it long, then double it on your needle. If you do that, there's plenty of thread to fill in this picture.

This was a fun and easy project to keep my hands busy, and very satisfying to complete. Once I was done and tried to rinse off the stamp I got worried because it just sort of bled all over the fabric, but then I put it in a pan with water and a sprinkle of OxiClean and it came out clean and crisp with the background bright white as if the stamp was never there.

I bought this earlier in the year and just finished it!! I have never done stamped cross stitch...but I must say, it is a game changer! I have a busy job that requires a lot of my attention (especially with this pandemic) I really did not have time to count and recount squares. This allowed me to mindlessly cross stitch to relieve stress! I highly recommend for ANY LEVEL cross stitcher!!! I can't wait to put this one up this autumn! I highly recommend!

The pattern (counted) is gorgeous with beautiful, vibrant colors. However, the piece of Aida cloth that comes with the kit is far, far too small - 22â€x23â€. See my photo and please forgive the wrinkles. If you use their cloth, make sure you use the 23†width horizontally. Still, it will barely fit. I’ve cross-stitched for 50+ years and never had to count out the pattern to ensure it would fit. But with this kit, as I approached the right edge, I had to take the cloth out of the hoop and stretch the cloth by hand as I stitched because there wasn’t enough cloth to hoop (not fun as I had to check the tension consistency with each stitch). As always, I started in the middle (blue swirl at the to left of the picture) but as I worked to the right, I was terrified I was going to run out of room. There are only 14 unworked squares - yes, exactly 1†- from the last stitch to the selvage edge and not much room to frame. I always want at least a 3†unstitched border. I also assumed the cloth was square - it’s not - so I inadvertently used the 22†side horizontally so I have 2†at the bottom but 1†on the right side. So buy your own cloth and use at least 26â€x26â€. Then the thread - it has DMC numbers but it’s not good quality. Lots of fraying and it knots up easily even though I use small lengths and Thread Magic conditioner. Buy your own high quality thread. Even with all of that, the pattern is fabulous and for me worth the price. I’ll make it again with quality materials next time.

I love this kit. All of the floss is pre-separated, the pattern is clear, and the colors are gorgeous. It’s BIG, so it will take awhile to finish.

Its a beautiful kit, but there is not enough threads... There is no clear guide as to how many threads to use. I used two per stitch and I ran out of them quite fast. I am 1/4 done and am unable to finish the head of the owl or the branch. Disappointed as it looked like a beautiful pattern to hang over my kid's bed but now I wont be able to.
