This is a gorgeous grill. No two ways about it. But know….there are 15 pages of assembly instructions. Seriously. You will definitely need a second person to help hold parts as you connect them. Putting the top grill portion onto the base is the hardest part. Keep the screws loose until after that.The warmer tray in the charcoal grill area was not made correctly. 1/2†too long and doesn’t fit. We’re going to Home Depot tomorrow to see how we can cut it to fit. It’s a double layer of metal. A hacksaw isn’t touching it.Next time I’m paying someone to put it together.

I am really impressed with the Capitive Designs Propane Gas & Charcoal Grill Combo! The combination of propane and charcoal is super convenient—it lets me switch depending on what I’m cooking or how much time I have. The cooking space is also really generous, which has been great when I have friends or family over.The side burner has been more useful than I expected for keeping sauces or sides warm. Assembling it was straightforward, and the wheels made it easy to move around when needed.I think the dual-fuel design is my favorite part. I can quickly fire up the gas for a simple dinner or take my time with charcoal for that smoky flavor on the weekends. Overall, it’s been a great addition to my backyard setup!

EDIT** Customer service reached out about the doors not shutting due to the screws not staying in place on the bottom. Turns out the bottom that was sent was faulty and did not come with the pieces already in place so they sent another replacement that had all the correct pieces. They also sent the bottom back piece that was bent up or wrapped as well. Not the most exciting thing to have to take the bottom apart after getting the thing together but very happy they reached out and fixed most of the issues! So I’m giving them 3 stars instead of the original 1 star I gave previously.I was so excited to put together my husbands Christmas gift but the very first thing I pulled out was a bent door. Then the back piece was dented and bent, a screw that holds on shipping protection was completely stripped so we had to find a way to get that out. As well as scratches everywhere you looked. Very disappointed in this because it was ALOT of money to pay for something that came pretty much destroyed. The doors do not shut all the way because of the warp/dents. Also the magnets that hold the door did not come with anything but screws which just slide down and don’t stay put. So the doors don’t even stay shut.Definitely a 2 person job, took 2.5 hours to get together and it looks a mess from all the dings and dented pieces make the grill not sit right. This is the first time I’ve purchased this type of grill because it came highly recommended online and I’m EXTREMELY let down at how horrible the quality is. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a grill. Too much money to spend to get a used old beaten up grill. Very disappointing! I feel bad for my husband as this was his gift I bought him. Not a good look.
