The four thing that use a sticky thingy with 4 screw is only recommended but it not a required if you have something that can hang on to the net. Work great for my Subaru Ascent.

Both sides of the top cord used to attach it to the vehicle came apart from the net when I tried to install it. They only used 2 stitches with lightweight threads to attach it and when it was stretched, the threads snapped. Now the net just says and moves from side to side and does not provide coverage.
