I haven’t tried the more famous brands making air canons.. but this one works well for my SUV. I thought of getting a leaf blower but I’m glad I didn’t. I can’t imagine a leaf blower would be that much more powerful. The significance being most devices sold to the masses (leaf blowers included) aren’t strong enough to stand 5 feet away from the vehicle and blow it dry. Getting close to the paint (without making contact) is how you can blow the water away effectively. A hand held device makes that easy to do, and leaf blower would be a bit cumbersome. For my SUV takes me about 25 min to dry. Swirl mark free, worth it. Bonus tip. Use de-ionized water for the rinse.. I buy 2 gallon jugs from the super market, and use a battery operated power washer to rinse the soap off. Between that and blow drying, no water spots and no unnecessary swirl marks. For the pre-soak and soap mix, regular water is fine.

I have used a different brand at a detail shop and was hesitant on purchasing this one. I was pleasantly surprised at how powerful the blower is and the warm air is perfect. I definitely would recommend this product.

Please if you wanna purchase a item like this do it locally at a store ,save yourself some hassle of go to a ups drop off . Box came in all broken and the yhe machine is so cheap not powerful to dry cars .Waste of time and money.

This vacuum is pretty good. The hose gets pretty long once it's turned on. The heater can be turned on and off but the hose still gets hot. I wish there was a longer hand attachment, like for vacuum cleaners. There also should be a nozzle with a wider head to cover a bigger area. All that came in this box was a narrow wedge tool. All in all, I'm pleased.
