Purchased this for use when I take my clients out on errands. This tool works very well for helping seniors get out of the car. My client had the opportunity to use it getting out of the car several times last week and she mentioned how much she liked it and said it was extremely helpful and was glad I got it. Was a well spent $4, great investment, this is a game changer for people that struggle getting out of the car. Very, very easy to use. I just leave it in the door pocket on the passenger side of the car. Seems well made, just basic and useful.

I've been looking at these for a while to determine if they would really be useful. I have a disability that makes it hard to lift my leg high enough to get in the car so basically I back in. With recent snow and ice here I slipped once, didn't fall but decided it was time to try one.This was inexpensive but I wish I had gotten it sooner. It really works, I feel more secure getting in and out of the car and it's easy to use. I keep it in the door compartment so it's always handy.If you have any difficulty getting in or out of your car just order it now. It's well worth the money. Thanks.

The car handle / car cane I ordered appears to be well made and works as intended. I used this on a '22 CX-5 and an '07 Accord. Both doors have nearly identical loops where the car door attaches and where this gets inserted. It fits relatively snugly into the loop with minimal left/right play and holds my weight (200+ lbs).The hard plastic of the grip though is a little uncomfortable and could use something wrapped around the handle to help with the hardness/uncomfortable feel and would be ideal to help with grip so if it's raining or maybe your hand is sweaty, there'd be less chance of losing your grip.I'm giving this 4 stars, it works but I've used a similar product with a rubberized grip and found that felt better for stability when pushing myself up. I have not tested the window smashing or seat belt cutting features as my windshield is perfectly fine not being smashed and I'm still using my seat belts.

Great idea but the hook on my Murano's car door was too big. Then I broke a piece of plastic trying to force it on, duh! Marking it down because there was no indication of the kinds of automobiles it was incompatible with.
