I actually am quite impressed with this. I thought it was going to be kind of gimmicky, but they are functional and they are quality. They're very simple to install (look at the tiny pictures in the instructions); I did it in a couple of minutes while buckled in as the passenger on a long drive.These lift up and click in a few different positions to either rise for a tall person or lower all the way down for a small person (like a child). So, you can get them out of the way or get them right in the perfect position for your head to rest against. What I liked best about them is the way the padding on the inside is nice and substantial on the very blade edge of the cushion; you can rest your temple against it and be nice and comfortable. I can and do sincerely recommend these.

First the good...headrest is comfortable once installed. The PU leather pads feel nice again your head and for me, don't generate much heat. I haven't tried them yet with the car air conditioning on to see if they get cold or not, but I'm thinking they should stay rather neutral.. I like that the pads are firm, but not overly firm like you're resting against a hard surface. They fold up well when not in use making it very convenient when not needed.The only issue for me however is where you can use this, which is somewhat my fault. Definitely look closely at your car to determine application, as it's not just the ability to remove your car headrest for installation which is important. I couldn't use this in my Buick front seat as preferred, as the seat design isn't completely open below the car headrests which the product picture does show...I simply didn't take close notice at my car. My seatback rather curves in towards the headrest railings slightly, making it a more narrow squeeze due to the bar on the back of this. Works in the rear seat captain chairs fine though. Why those are shaped differently than the front seats is beyond my understanding. It also works fine in my Mazda, having both the headrest railings completely exposed and the seating frame below the rails also being open. It will happily have it's home in this car instead.

I am very satisfied with the Car Headrest Pillow,Thickened Memory Foam Road Pal Headrest,Neck Support Pillow,180° Adjustable,Travel Car Sleeping,Prevent Cervical Sprain Spine,Suitable for Kids and Adults (Black). This is great for long trips - not so much for short ones. But an added bonus is that it acts almost like blinders for a horse. The kids don't see each other as well, so they do a little less bickering. And if they're comfortable, they just might sleep longer.

Sadly this didn’t last us longer than a week. It’s great in theory for a child transitioning from a car seat to booster. Unfortunately all it took was going over a speed bump and my child’s head ping ponging between cushions and one side snapping off. Wish it was a bit sturdier.FYI, if you have a 4Runner with a single seat that folds down for trunk access or similar…double check if the seat belt harness on top has a bulky cover next to the head rest. This product could only be installed on one side because of that.

This was easy to install and holds in place well. I enjoy it for my oldest when we go on our long road trips as her booster seat doesn't offer much in terms of keeping her head in place. She enjoyed that her neck didn't hurt after she fell asleep. Highly suggest and will purchasing one for my minivan for when we go out in our second car.

I totally wanted to include a picture that I took of my wife sleeping while traveling, but I think she’d kill me if I did it. I always drive when we go long distances. She frequently falls asleep, and her head tends to loll to the side. I thought I would give this a try. So far we’ve been very happy with it. When I first installed it, I was thinking that it wouldn’t work, because it would always be in her way. But by spreading the arms out and tilting it up, as you can see in the picture, it goes right out of the way. Then you can bring it down, and squeeze the arms in to be as tight as loose as you want. It is also very easy to remove and put in another vehicle.It is not especially heavy duty plastic, but for what it’s for, it seems to be durable enough. The arms are padded for comfort, although they are not super soft like a pillow. Overall, I think this is a very effective product and is very helpful for comfort while traveling.

Initially, I got for this for my car; however, I do not have removable headrests (it clearly states this in the description) however, of course I did not read ALL of it. Anyway, we ended up putting it in another vehicle. It was an easy install. I often have elderly folk in my cars and figured this would be helpful or not . . . For them. They love it. Often times when transporting they will doze off and this gadget has certainly assisted with their efforts!.Our temperatures can get pretty hot so I put new soft socks on the both sides of the headrest to prevent burns (yes, it gets that HOT) and sweating. However, it did increase my workload as I now have to keep a chart to have them rotate seats!I like that the headrest can be sanitized. It dries quickly. The socks slide on and off without a hitch.I highly recommend this headrest.
