Step 1
Block the diagonal tire of the tire to be replaced with the tire wheel chocks. Loosen each wheel nut one or two turns by turning counterclockwise with the wheel nut wrench. Do not remove the wheel nuts until the tire is off the ground.
Step 2
Assemble the jack handle.
Step 3
Place the jack in the corresponding position under the car.
Step 4
Crank the handle to jack up the car.

I got this for my trailer asthe front front broke. Scissor jacks are bulky. I got this as it the same type but compact. I feel more secure using this type of mechanism. Easily raised the trailer without much effort. Very satisfied.

High lifts are for fake explorers, mechanical bottle jacks are for people who have actually been stuck off-road. Good solid little unit with enough travel to get the job done. Add some wood blocks or a jack base and you are set, keep the high lift to use the handle to repair tie rods. Its a little gritty in gear engagement (toyotas are much slicker) and replace the grease with some non junk.

Works great. My original jack that came with my full size pickup bit the dust during a flat tire change. I got this one, used it during a brake change and it was great. I’m keeping it where the old one was stored inside the cab. One small complaint: it would be easier to use with a longer extension but the others don’t have that at all.

We got this jack in case of emergency! My vehicle does not come with one. We used it today to change the tire and my husband was pleasantly surprised at how smooth this handled. It is small and compact but lifted our Chevy Tahoe without a problem! Would recommend to anyone looking for a compact jack!
