This is our first time using it, after a long day of sledding. The adjustable clip in the back can’t be adjusted tight enough so the sides are too floppy and wide apart to work well for head supports. It’s working well enough for now but I will have to jury rig it so it can be used as pictured in the listing. I see the same problem on the other review pics.

So close to 5 stars, if only they had invested a little more in the "adjustable" strap. The pillow itself fluffed up in a couple days and as stayed nice a firm for months. My son loves it, and says it make car rides much more comfortable. We will be taking it on a plan in the summer and I think it will work well. I like the hand rest pocket and the little zippered pouches to hide the straps when not in use.My only complaint is the strap. The clips work fine enough, but the straps were so long that is was impossible to tighten them enough so the pillow would stay high enough on the chair., even when fully tightened there was so much slack that the top of the pillow would be just at my 8 year olds head height, he needed to slouch down to get comfortable, which blput him in a less safe position while on the road, to make things worse, the adjusting slide would release over a short amount of time, so the strap would be at max length in less than 30 minutes, causing more slouching.I have since replaced the strap, and we both love it now. The length of the strap dropped it one star, the fact that I had to replace the strap for it to be safe, dropped it one more.

***PROS:—1) Comfortable - both my husband and two children loved it—2) Great for travel - we used it in the car. It was great for the kids in any position that they were in. Also, my husband leaned the passenger seat down and used it to sleep for a bit on his side - he loved that his head had a place to rest as well as his arm. One of my kids also used it to sleep on a bunk bed and it kept them from moving around as much. They said it was nice to cuddle with.—3) Washes well! When I first got it, it had an odor, so I washed it and dried it. Turned out great. I have since washed and dried it several times. Still looks new.***CONS:—1) This isn’t a major con, but it’s something to mention. For traveling, this pillow works best when the person puts their head to either side, the seat reclines a bit to begin with, and/or if you roll a bit to your side. If it’s a very upright chair (or they are stuck in a car seat, it may not work as well since there is no support directly under the chin. However, we do not have that issue in the vehicle that we normally travel in as all of the seats recline a little bit or more.--------If my viewpoint changes after I have posted this review, I will edit and update it.

We have two trips out of state this month. One drive over 13 hours. I hate seeing my kids with their neck all crooked and falling down around the seatbelt. I worry they will lose air or choke when the seatbelt cuts into their neck while sleeping. Then their head bobs every which way. Then there’s the fact it’s highly uncomfortable to sleep straight up in a car. This pillow fixed all of that. My daughter got good quality rest and I didn’t have to worry about her neck or head! She also used it on her bed as a pillow and the memory foam compared to most other pillows like this is way better support and comfort in my opinion. This was perfect and worth the money.
