I'm in college, but need to travel on occasion. I like that my wife can drive and I can work from the back seat (I couldn't find anything that would work from the front seat). Seems sturdy enough for me to compete exams and type long papers. My Microsoft ProX with keyboard for well with enough room to set my Samsung Galaxy Ultra next to it. The "cup holders" are useless for an adult and I would imagine difficult for children, so I don't use them. Installation was easy and it folds away nicely when not in use. Please note that if you keep it folded up the tray cover will sag and could mishape in a hot car. I usually leave mine down unless I need it out of the way. But the tray cover does remove easily for cleaning. I suppose it could be glued in place but then it would be difficult to clean.

We have a Ford F150 crew cab, shopping & road trips were difficult because we often had to eat on the run and there is no easy way to eat in car seats. These trays made all the difference for eating & playing while in the car. I do not care for the drink holders on the tray, they don’t really work for most drinks. The tray works fantastic though. We use it while driving as well as parked. iPads sit on tray with room for food too.Installation took about 15-20 minutes. Once installed they have not needed adjustment yet. You do not notice or feel the device on the headrest. The unit folds flat when not in use and we have not had them come out of the holder while driving over rocky terrain. We have used these for about a month now. They were worth the investment & we will buy them again. This turned the backseat into a kid friendly environment for anything from road trips to Costco trips. They are not hard to clean, hold quite a bit of items & so far are durable. I will update if there are any issues.

very well built table for your car. We used this for our 2 Week Long Rd. trip for our kids and it was incredible! It’s super durable, has a nonslip mat, fits most drinks and is great for the kids watching iPad, eating in the car, drawing on. It adjusted multiple links. I was very impressed. Definitely recommend.!

Easy to install, but I have to set it up for my son. It takes up a lot of leg room when it's collapsed. Very sturdy when using, but my son is tall with long legs. Like the non-slip top.

So easy to use and helpful for writing notes or doing paperwork in the car. Also great for eating in a parked car when you have no other option. I really like it. Makes a great gift for a sales rep that travels or for a traveling nurse. Easy to store in back seat pocket.

This is really an awesome product. Sturdy. Adjustable. Room for tablet and other things, like drawing or playing with toys.However, if your children are still in carseats, it won't work well in small SUVs or sedans. There isn't enough room for it. But in even large SUVs like a Tahoe or Minivan, it's perfect. Kids love it.The only negative might be that it's a little tough when needing to fold it up to get a kid in and out of a carseat. You have to collapse it down (i.e. push back in the tray) before tilting up. Then getting the lock back in is tough. My wife can't do it, so I have to. It's worth it for me and parent sanity on long trips, but my wife won't use it. Too cumbersome.I'm still a fan. Bought two, and highly recommended. :)

**Edit: I have been using this for a week now and I absolutely love it. Please see my attached picture and use the bungee cord to help support the weight. It will make all the difference.I feel like this tray is getting undeserved poor ratings. It is a good quality product, perfect for a car office or whatever. It is height adjustable and telescopic. It even has an anti-slip mat to keep your stuff in place. My only issue was when the tray is folded it hangs, which puts excess weight on the hooks, but I resolved that issue by securing the tray with bungee cord (see picture). Keeps it nice and secure.

Fits well on seat, serves its purpose. But don't think its a fixed, sturdy table, it's an add on only.The only negative so far, its Bottle holder is too small for most bottles or cups.

So many things I hate about this but I'll keep it short.-It hangs out, won't lay down properly to the back of the chair.Getting the table out and in for use is a pain on the butt-unasssembling also a nightmare-and the way this thing hangs out and shakes, all I could think of was if there was a collision or impact, this heavy hard stuff would hit straight in the chest. It'll be pretty bad an accident. So I horridly returned it back. No thanks
