As I titled it hold in place well. Now what I never thought of. I have. Grand Cherokee with eight way power seats. I am 6’5†and have my seat all the way back and tilted way back. You can place this tray two ways. One with your Steering Wheel straight with this tray low. Or turn your wheel 180 Deg. and have the tray high. Either position works as a tray to eat off of. When low it is right off your chest. In either position I cannot see it as a portable desk to write on. It is either to close in lower position or to high in upper position. Other than that works great with any DriveTru.

This was super cheap, so I tried not to get my hopes too high, it is a little flawed! At first I was really excited when I saw it had an "eating" side and a "studying" side (if you want to call them that), but I feel like both aren't fully functional. To start off, this is super light and not very sturdy. I'm not sure who'd eat soup in their car, but I wouldn't with this table lol. I also don't think you could write on it, it just seems like there would be too much pressure put on the table via your hands, same as if you wanted to use it for a laptop. It is good however, for a quick little meal in your car. I wouldn't put anything heavy on it (ie my soup comment lol), glass tupperware, a large beverage, etc, in fear of the table tipping itself into the user's lap. But a burger and some fries, nachos, sub, salad, these I think would be fair game. I also didn't like the way the table sat on my steering wheel normally, so I always turn it upside down so nothing gets in the way. Overall, this is so handy if you eat in the car. Maybe try splurging on a more expensive one if you need one that's more thick and sturdy, but this one's working for me (for now lol).

I love this thing! I hate eating in the lunch room at my job because there's too many people in too much noise. I can go out to my car, scoot my seat back, set up my phone and enjoy my lunch in peace. This is not a tray that you can eat and drive with! I've seen a YouTuber try that. Don't be dumb. 🤨 This tray is to be used while your car is in the off and parked position!

i work from my car sometimes and this actually helps a great deal. for my car (2019 subaru forester) i need to flip my wheel upside down, but thats no problem. while parked you can move your wheel however you need. holds my heavy and huge macbook pro up just fine with no dipping or flimsiness. easy to get on and off. ive used it to eat lunch on as well and i dint care for that. but laptop working in the car, this is a winner.
The material was very thin.

Product quality is excellent. Its made sturdy and it is double sided. However it becomes almost useless as it doesn't fit the steering wheel of my car- Tata Punch. And I suppose it won't fit any Tata cars steering.
