It is a decent quality, the lock is not a secure lock by any means but it is more of a deterent anyway. No steering wheel lock is really secure and most thieves aren't picking locks. This isn't TV.Brute force is usually the ticket. If they want your car, they will take it no matter what! All these are really good for is making your car less appealing to the thieves. Why water time on the car with the bright yellow lock on the wheel, when they can go to your neighbors and steal their car that was left unlocked with the keys in it!This is cheap insurance and is something you should have especially if you are driving a Kia or Hyundai or worse yet a challenger or charger! These are the most stolen cars in America right now!It is super easy to use and is sturdy, I like the bright yellow coating. It is thick and prevents scratches on the dashboard, but also serves as a beacon, shouting that your car is just a little bit harder to steal! Is it going to save your car from a determined thief or someone stealing your change but it won't hurt you or your wallet installing this when you park...This is by far the best few dollars you can invest in your baby!

This product will keep the honest honest. There is no device out on the market anywhere that will stop a determined thief. This for sure will slow them down and frustrate them. If you have a Toyota the steering wheel maybe too thick for this product. I bought one for myself and my daughter and it would not fit on her steering wheel. Works just fine with my Elantra. She has a 2011 matrix. If you try to pull the locked device off the steering wheel to break it it'll hit the windshield. For the money you can't go wrong!

As others have mentioned, it's probably not going to stop a determined thief from stealing your vehicle, but it might discourage them. There may be several ways around it, but I figure they can always cut the section of steering wheel it's attached to and still drive off with your car. Possibly, if your car is worth the trouble. But for the most part, it will likely be a reason for would-be thieves to move onto another vehicle instead. So, for less than $20, I feel like this steering wheel lock is well worth the peace of mind.It is very easy to install and uninstall, and is indeed heavy duty, feels like a quality product at a very low cost. Although, a downside I've noticed with my vehicle, a Toyota Sienna, it leaves indentations on the steering wheel surface. I have yet to see if this will cause any permanent damage. But for now, I'm okay with it and the peace of mind it gives me for cheap. I'd recommend it.

My car is more secured when it has an steering wheel lock, this one isn't heavy which makes easier to accommodate it in any place of the car.

I bought this for a Hyundai. This steering wheel lock is easy to install and its highly visible from outside the vehicle. It seems well built although I didn’t try to break it off the steering wheel as it would definitely cause damage. It’s less cumbersome than a Club and should stop the wheel from turning at all. I bought it in hopes that opportunistic kids will pass since there is one more thing stopping them from being able to joy ride the car.On a Hyundai Venue it leaves marks on the steering wheel, the only way to prevent it is to break the corners off the piece that goes around the steering wheel. I would recommend for a car with a narrower steering wheel but not for a Venue.

I got this item and the keys were a pain to use, one of them broke off and one day I couldn’t even unlock it to go out so I ended up staying home. It was also difficult to place on my steering wheel.
