As a senior citizen we tend to get shorter and for me that’s a problem while driving with the sun in my eyes. Not even the regular visor covered the sun but this item works great. All I do is pull it down being careful not to affect my vision of other cars yet keeping the sun off my eyes. Easy to attach and perfect for me. I recommended it highly.

We recently purchased a car with side windows that are larger than our those on our previous vehicle--Great for vision but for a shorter person like me, not so good for morning and afternoon sun exposure. This visor solved everything. It's a quick installation and very easy to manipulate while driving. Holding up just fine after being used everyday, twice a day for 6 months. We ordered a second one for our other car.

i am under 5' tall and lately am being blinded by the sun every morning. i had looked at visor extenders in the past but never found quite what i was looking for; however, i finally decided i would have to just buy the best i could find vs doing nothing. and that's what this is - the best i could find, and better than doing nothing.my requirements weren't numerous OR lofty:1. be a solid/opaque material. >> i don't know why so many visor extenders are simply tinted plastic, but that's not going to prevent the sun from shining into my eyeballs. if that worked my sunglasses would have been sufficient.2. do not block the visor mirror. >> again, i don't understand why the people who design visor extenders assume that everyone wants a taller visor *instead of* a mirror. that is clearly not the case, firstly since they have entirely different functions so it makes no sense to assume people only want one or the other. and secondly, you can see just in looking at the reviews for these products how many people aren't happy about their mirror being blocked or partially compromised.obviously i was unsuccessful in meeting both requirements, and i've sadly determine that a vertical visor extender that is designed with the visor mirror in mind simply doesn't exist. i did install this on the opposite side of my visor so my mirror isn't fully blocked, but like all others i saw, the straps block the visor mirror at least partially. my best workaround was to cross the straps rather than connect them each vertically as intended, as that pulled the left strap more out of the way of the mirror. i also mounted it as far to the right as possible while still being useful, but another drawback is that the vertical visor part is not even the full width of the product, so you really don't get a huge horizontal area where it's helpful.i also didn't find any opaque visor extenders that did not include extenders for the sides of the visor, which i did not want or need. on this product, the side-to-side extender was fairly loose and it stuck off the edge of my visor if it wasn't perfectly centered, so i just took scissors and cut it off. i now have just the mount/straps and the vertical visor as desired. i just wish the vertical visor was like 4-5" wider and that the straps were designed specifically to allow full/regular access to the visor mirror when needed.this ended up being a really long review. you can tell how annoying consistent direct sunshine into the eyes is that i had to go to these lengths to avoid it.

The visor is well made and covers all gaps the installed visor didn't cover. I like the solid pull down piece. Easy to keep clean compared to the visors that come with plastic. Nothing fancy but does the job. Like the option of the gray colored visor, many manufacturers only have black.

This product is a miracle! As all short people know, standard visors never come down low enough to block the sun and glare. It is easy to attach and simple to use. The product itself is kind of flimsy, but it does the job and is a good value for the price.

Needed an added sun visor for driving when the sun is outside the manufacturers visor. We get sunsets that blind you when going home in the afternoon. This added sun visor extension worked perfectly to cut the blinding sun. When you don't need it you slide it up into its frame out of the way, easy to pull down and put up. Also has side visors. They are a driving life saver!

VW cheaped out and didn’t include a telescoping feature on the passenger sun visor. I looked at options of replacing via overseas versions of the same car, but those solutions were $400+. While not as slick as a OEM part, this serves its job well. Yeah, it’s going to block the vanity mirror, but it’s worth it.One star off because it just feels cheap, but it functions exactly as needed.

This product is helpful in blocking sunshine. The material is good; it’s smooth surface so the dust has no chances to stick on it. If the car manufacturers had learned to make and install these covers inside cars then life would be much easier and less costly !Highly recommended !
