This tube's 3K twill weave pattern offers the perfect combination of lateral strength and crush resistance resulting in a tube that is both much stronger than steel, and much lighter than aluminum. Containing no metal means that it will not rust or corrode in wet or underwater environments. Having a matte finish provides an excellent surface for adhesives and paints. These features make it the perfect choice for mobile and outdoor mechanical frames, robotic apparatuses, RC aircraft spars, sports equipment, and telescoping poles. Carbon fiber is a great replacement for metal tubes and poles in most applications.

For my application this carbon fiber tubing dies a nice job. Strong, lightweight and a fraction of the cost from major cf manufacturers.

Using these premade carbon tubes to make lugged parts on custom mountain bike frames. They are very stiff and seem quite strong.

My laser tiller extension broke, and this was a close match to the original carbon fiber tube. The walls are thicker, so I did have to sand a bit on the plastic extension joint to get it to fit properly. Drilled a hole for the pin and shrink wrapped the joint and put on a new grip. It looks professional and better but less expensive than a new tiller extension.

This is quality carbon fiber! I'm extremely satisfied with the product. I used it to make a shroud for one of my airguns and it was the perfect fit. Will buy again when needed.

After building the Flite Test version of the Slow Stick, I saw a length of this tubing, and commented that I wondered if I could build a larger version using the carbon fiber tube in place of the arrow shaft. I was given the tube, and while it took me a little time to get around to the build, I finished up my "Big Stick," and it flies nicely. The wings and tail surfaces are made of dollar store foamboard, with several types of hobby wood for the wing support. The 22mm diameter carbon fiber tube makes for a strong but lightweight base for the plane. Standard wall-mount pipe clamps fit around it nicely for holding the wing and landing gear support in place, and an adhesive like J/B Weld adheres to the carbon fiber to hold other parts in place. If you enjoy tinkering with flying models, a length of this tube can be a great starting point for building and flying fun.
