Your cart is empty.The #16 Tapered cork is a solid stopper that fits most 5 gallon carboys. We don't recommend using these corks for wine, but they work well for liqueurs, vinegars, oils, etc. Top diameter: 1-3/8" - bottom diameter: 1-1/8 - depth: 1-3/8".

I bought these to get rid of the plastic plugs I was using. I know they say for use with 5 gallon carboys, but it also works with the 3 gallon version. I haven’t had them long, but so far they are holding up. I’ll update if things change.

Not a real dense cork so be careful pluging the hole or pieces break off.

Very pricey for just a tiny piece of cork. But the alternative was using plastic to top off a 3-gal glass carboy full of emergency water. The cork boils stably to sterilize and fits well in a standard crown-top glass carboy, though.

This quality of the product is bad and it’s a waste of money. It grows mold when used to cover liquid bottles so it might endanger your health as well. The cock broke into two after two weeks.
