Was surprised how good it was, made well, bolted right on, started right up, had to make small adjustment on mixture screw, but runs great on my Ford 8n

I’ve had one of these on my 2N since 2020 and never had an issue. I bought the tractor with an un-rebuildable original carb. As time went on, I now own 5 n-series tractors. 2 of the 8Ns have the original carbs and they work great, with one tractor being a restored parade queen. All others all have aftermarket carbs - the aforementioned 2N, an old wore out 8N with a loader, and a new 8N addition: The other week, I brought home a $150 8N as a parts tractor. As luck would have it, I was able to get the engine unstuck and everything seemed like I would have a potential runner. Instead of spending a fortune on it, I wanted to see if I could make it into a good usable tractor using spare parts that I had lying around. I rebuilt the original carb it came with with a cheap kit, but ended up needing a more comprehensive kit for it. I purchased this carburetor for it instead and it fired right up. I’ll keep the original Marvel Schebler carb as a spare for the other tractors. You cannot beat these for the money. Of course you will need to adjust the carb out of the box and make sure everything’s clean. Check the float to make sure it works as it should and the level is set correctly. I have never had an issue with these aftermarket carbs on working tractors that I use all the time and see regular hard use.

This carburetor is absolute junk and I would not recommend! I have owned a couple 8N in my day and have done my fair share of working on them and getting to know the tractor so with that said I could not get this carburetor to work at all it was complete junk and I ended up putting my original stock carburetor back on after cleaning it out and I could use my tractor again unlike with this waste of time and money carburetor so save your money and buy something else cuz you will only be disappointed!

The cross reference showed it fits 9n 8 n ferguson couple others, bolt pattern were3/8" "to narrow, but the quality is equal to dealer product 4 times the cost. Thank u
