Reverse engineering provides insight into how and why the unit originally failed, allowing our engineers to identify and correct original design flaws. Every CARDONE unit goes through stringent testing, ensuring like-new performance and quick reaction time when traction control is required.

quality remanufactured part! Perfect fit. I only wish I could have returned a core rather than throwing it into the trash. No info on returning cores enclosed or on mfg website.

It doesn't what it's supposed to as far as I can tell.

This worked great for 13 months. Now there is only 1kohm resistance between the switch pin and the valve body, according to the Ford service manual this should be over 10kohm and the only solution is to replace the valve again. The corresponding flashout code from the rabs module is an error code 4. Now I need another expensive part just 1 month out of warranty!

Was going to delete my antilock brake assembly but thought i would try this. Worked well and is still working just fine. Wanted to keep the truck as stock as possible.

A new, not remanufactured part is best and yes, more expensive. If you want the same problem after taking the time to remove rusty bolts, then do the proper sequence of events bleeding the brakes, only to revisit a short time later, then buy this. Or having to pay a mechanic's labor twice, because he didn't recommend remanufactured. Also if a rebate is a part of purchasing this manufacturer's part wouldn't count on getting it or finding someone in charge of that. Some parts you shouldn't buy remanufactured. This manufacturer mainly provides those type parts.
