When I received the package I noticed that it had oil stain on it and I didn't think anything of it since I thought since it was rebuild of course it will have some residue. I stored the package in the garage for a few months since I didn't have the time to work on my car. I knew this would take a considerable time to replace. But once I got to replace it and put power steering fluid and ran it for a bit. I saw it left an oil stain on the ground so yeah not a good rebuild gear box. I'm partly to blame to not have returned the item when I first saw the oil stain on the package and for waiting too long to replace it. Hope this helps.

It works ok with the AMC Eagle. A lot better than the 30 years old factory steering gearVery reliable driving compared with the old steering gear.
