I purchased this to replace current cv axel. The axel on my truck had been replaced close to hundred thousand miles ago and I noticed both boots were split and throwing grease, I got on Amazon and placed the order and had it installed, I believe it will be a fine part and work as it should, it was cheaper than orielys quoted me. This product is made in China but as long as it’s at OEM spec then I don’t see an issue and time only tells on longevity. I would buy without hesitation the part quality was good.

I have replaced about 10 of these in the last 5 years on all makes, Ford, GM, Dodge etc.For all the technology these have gone through they are still an item that needs to be serviced.I like the Dodge design that both sides (LH and RH) are the same unit. The worst ones are the older ones that you need to get inside the axle to take the 'C' clip out but most of the newer ones are simply the yank-off versions. That said a lot of them are completely frozen to the splines and need to be hammered off. Some just don't have the room to get a hammer on and even then it can take 2-300 hits to get it off.I did see a video of a guy using the actual shaft as a slide hammer by:1) Cutting the boot off.2) Taking 3 vise grips and clamping near the end of the CV joint slide chamber.3) Yank the heck out of it. Still going to take as many hits but at least you are hitting even (straight out). When I put mine back together I grease the entire spline really well in case I do need to do this again. For the price I will stay with the Cardone brand if it's available and the price doesn't get crazy.
