Becoming a caregiver for an elderly person is scary. This product is basically a set of wireless door chimes. The elderly person is given help-me buttons to keep in the pocket or wear on a lanyard. Press the button and all the chimes you plugged in around the house go off at once. (The coverage is solid in my 3-floor, 2,000 ft townhome.) There are also self-stick buttons that I have mounted near the toilet and shower in case of a bathroom emergency. Each doorbell (the plug-in units that alert the caregiver) has two onboard buttons. One is to adjust the volume and it works well. The other is to adjust the inherently irritating electronic tunes that are played when the unit is activated. I was unable to program the sound/melody that I wanted in these doorbells. Because the set is fully functional without choosing one of the other fancy sounds, I should have just left well enough alone and stuck with the default sound. Instead, I called the Amazon helpline and was immediately assisted by a nice young man. He explained that I was supposed to have received a 3-button unit that is more easily programmable. He promised to send it to me. Instead, I received another set of the two-button type I already had. It was a nice try, Amazon.Bottom line: this is a solid product I can highly recommend, so long as you don't mind the secondary programming issue. For me, a solid alert mechanism outweighs my inability to get the doorbells to sing some European wedding song.

The system is easy to set up and can be very loud if you choose. There are almost too many options of sound types but once you find the one you like you will never change it. The remote worked well and our mother had no issues pushing the button.

These are great for someone worried about an older person you're watching. GF's father was getting worse in his 90's and was living in her cottage, away from the main house.I installed the button he would push in the cottage, and then installed the receiver devices in our house. The one receiver in our bedroom was probably 70-75ft away; worked perfectly. The only real problem with his age, was trying to get him to understand to push the button in emergencies. After his health started failing, we moved him into our house to keep a watchful eye, but still allowing him his autonomy with a private area. I moved the sending unit to his bathroom, and mounted it lower towards the floor in the event he ever fell getting in/out of his bath/shower.Overall, yes, I highly recommend this device with 1 sending unit and 2 reveivers we could place in different areas of the house

This is the perfect set up if you are looking for a simple button alarm. We needed Simple for my mom. Just one button to alert us. We’ve put the receivers in our bedrooms and common areas. One is on the opposite side of the house . There are no connectivity issues at all. You can also change the ring sound. I would absolutely purchase this item again.

This is simple to use, cheap, high quality, easy to use. The range between the alert button and the receiver box is super far!! We give my wheelchair bound sister the alert button and the alarm box that plugs into the power socket in the wall is really 600+ feet apart!!! The alert box chimes like a door bell, the caregiver lives across the street, 2 houses down the street, and my sister rings the button and the caregiver has the receiver plugged into the wall socket in her house and the to receive rings like a doorbell. Yes the range is that far!!!This was so worth it, a backup plan for when my sister falls and can't get up, and she can't reach her cell phone to call for help. There are many options for this type of device but this is cheap, simple, and works!! Highly recommend.

These are a relief! My 90-year old dad has moved in with us. He wears hearing aids and is 80% blind. We placed the 'sticky' buzzers close to the shower and toilet - kinda low, in case he fell and we were not watching. The hand-held buzzers we placed close to his chair and his other table where he eats. He uses them for us to assist with meals, tv, safety issues, etc. We placed our receivers in the kitchen (a hub for us), the master bedroom and garage, in case we are outside. The alarm (DING - DONG) is loud enough to hear it when we are outside. It's a really good thing to have. I would recommend the larger package if you can afford it, as it accomodates the safety factor better. I'd buy this again. It's easy to "install" and to get working - FAST. It's also easy for my dad to use - that's the most important thing!

I purchased this because a relative with health conditions was being released from the hospital to my households care. I have a receiver in my room and the others upstairs in the living room and one downstairs in the basement. It works great, since she prefers her privacy and this gives her that but also the family at ease where we don't have to be in the same room for her to alert us. She wears the device around her neck and presses the button if she needs assistance and we can be there as soon as possible. The standalone remote we've used a command strip to place it alongside the toilet, to alert as well since she had been in the hospital she's use to pressing the button for help.

This product was super easy to install. It works great and is loud enough to hear even when doors are closed. Exactly what we needed for my homebound mom. Highly recommend.

Ayuda mucho en el cuidado del adulto mayor o un enfermo en casa.

Cumple bien su función. Se usa para una persona mayor en un segundo piso para alertar a personas en el primero. Lo único malo es que el botón cuadrado nunca funcionó bien.
