I really like this sand. It looks nice, easy to clean and safe for my reptiles. This is the only safe sand out there. It's manufactured round so if ingested by your reptile, it won't damage their insides. It also rarely causes impaction. So if you really want to use a sand substrate, ONLY use this one.

Not 2 packs of 40 pound bags. It's 2 packs of 20 pound bags. I can't stand sellers that stretch the truth about their products.

The sand is nice, very fine small grit. I only received one of the 20 lb packages in my order. I contacted Amazon and they are sending me the other.

My Syrian Hamsters LOVE this stuff. I've replaced paper bedding with this and some timothy hay and sisal for them to nest in, and they love digging in it. Best part is, unlike paper bedding, it won't tangle my long haired Ham's fur!
