2. Screw drain plug
- Screw drain plug designed to quickly and easily remove any trapped water in the filter.

To Drain Water
- Loosen self-venting drain plug to drain water from bowl into a container.
- Tighten drain.
- Use primer bulb to fill filter with fuel.
- Start engine and check ensure there are no leaks.
How To Use？
- To drain bowl
- Remove filter from head with strapwrench
- Remove bowl from filter
- Lube new bowl 0-ring
- Tighten bowl onto new filter
- Fill with clean fuel
- Lube new filter seal
- Tighten firmly

This is a very good water-separator fuel filter for boat. It can release the water on the bottom of the filter. It's a bit hard to take apart.

Replaced the fuel/water separator on my 2018 tractor. Original was way too expensive. Mounted this in the original's location, plumbed in easy. Drain works easier than the original. Finer filtering of fuel is a BIG plus. Filter replacement is way cheaper than original.

Put this on my boat with a '89 Johnson 150. We were having issues with water in the fuel and this took care of it. Because of its size we had to figure out how to mount it but I got it figured out. Only downside is, I cannot seem to get the filter off of the bracket. It's like it was put on with loctite.

I bought this for a new to me boat that didn't have a water seperator. The price is attractive and appears to do the same job without the name attached to a higher price. I'll agree that it was difficult to seperate the bowl from filter and from housing. I used a pair of filter pliers and an adjustable wrench and got the job done fairly easily. Lubed both orings and installed. It does well.
