Good light weight hooks for small trailers. Very strong spring clip, hook is not coming off on it's own. I used on a small sailboat trailer.

I put these on a 3/8" chain. Initial fit was slightly tight until I got it fully into the loop. These safety chain hooks are heavy duty and work great. The spring loaded safety clip works good also and is easy to get off.

I really like this product, the springs are heavy duty so the connectors won’t pop off on my light duty trailers for use with the safety chains. Liked them so much I’m replacing my current chains on another trailer. Metal looks high quality.

Old trailer had S hooks - that could fly off if the right combination of pot holes were hit at the right speed. Pried those off, slid these on and no longer need to worry about that.
