Okay, so I bought this Cartman 18-inch lug wrench because my car's lug nuts were tighter than my jeans after Thanksgiving dinner. Let me tell you, this thing is HEAVY. I'm pretty sure it weighs more than my gym membership fees. When it arrived, I thought I'd accidentally ordered a boat anchor. Seriously, I half-expected a barnacle to be clinging to it.But hey, "heavy duty" is right there in the name, and they weren't kidding. This lug wrench is like the Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson of lug wrenches. It's built like a tank, probably forged in the fires of Mount Doom (or maybe just a factory in China, but let's go with Mount Doom).The four-way design is pretty nifty. It's like having a Swiss Army knife for your lug nuts. I felt like a pit crew member in the Indy 500, even though I was just wrestling with a flat tire in my driveway.Now, about the "non-slip" grips... they're definitely grippy. So grippy, in fact, that I think they might have absorbed some of my life force. My hands felt like I'd been arm-wrestling a grizzly bear after changing that tire. But hey, at least the wrench didn't slip, right? That's the important thing. I mean, the really important thing. My aching biceps? Just a minor side effect.So, would I recommend this lug wrench? If you're looking for a tool that could probably double as a medieval bludgeoning weapon, and you want to get a serious arm workout while changing your tires, then absolutely. Just be prepared to ice your muscles afterward. And maybe invest in some hand lotion. My palms are still trying to regain their original shape. Five stars for heavy duty-ness, but maybe minus a star for making me feel like I'm 80 years old. Also, maybe Cartman should stick to cartoons.

I went online in search of something like this. I found it. When it showed up it was even better than I expected. I liked the non-slip rubber and how sturdy and versitile it is. I could always be assisting someine else that doesn't have the same lugnut size as I do. Very happy.

This is a great tool. It’s small, durable, and pretty light. The only problem with it is that when I’m trying to get my wheels off, it has such little leverage that it makes it hard to get off torqued on lugnuts. That isn’t to say it’s impossible, I just could find it that people with smaller muscular builds may find this tool difficult to use if they don’t have a breaker bar to first untorque the nuts.

I USED TO HAVE ONE OF THESE TIRE IRON CROSS BARS FOR MY JEEP. THIS WAS THE ONLY TOOL WE USED TO USE TO GET THE TIRES OFF A VEHICHLE. I REMEMBERED HOW USEFUL THIS WAS AND NEEDED ONE FOR MY NEW VW. THE CHROME FINISH WAS A WELCOMED IMPROVEMENT (ORIGINAL BLACK PAINT) AND THE BLUE GRIPS REALLY SAVE YOUR HANDS ( ORIGINAL HAD NO GRIP NEEDED PADDED GLOVES). THE CENTER REINFORCEMENT WAS ALSO A WELCOMED IMPROVEMENT AS THE WRENCH IS TACK WELDED UNDERNEATH THE CENTER BRACE (THE ORIGINAL WAS TACK WELDED ONLY). REALLY HAPPY WITH THIS TIRE IRON. SEND ANOTHER WHOLE SHIP OF THEM FROM ASIA. I THINK EVERYONE DESERVES ONE OF THESE!

Okay product for the price but could be better. Gets the job done. Lugs kept getting stuck but was able to get out with pliers.

Really solid, well made lug wrench. The rubber sleeves make it really easy to grip, the metal is solid, and the arms are long enough to give plenty of leverage without making the wrench too big to stash with your spare tire (although it's not what I'd call compact, you'll need some space for it in your trunk...). Highly recommended.
