I bought this vacuum toy for my grandson, Henry as a gift for his first birthday. Henry is a little obsessed with vacuums and I hoped he would like this. He actually loved it and pretty much ignored all of his other gifts. I knocked off a star for durability and sturdiness because it is clear after just one evening of play that the hose will not hold up very long. I'm sure Grandpa can rig up some sort of duct tape repair, but it's not ideal. That said, Henry absolutely loves this toy and all of the other kids at his party desperately wanted a turn. It has lots of play value and it's really adorable.

My 4 year old loves his vacuum!! He seriously played with it all day on Christmas and again as soon as he woke up the day after. The vacuum is not too loud and is oddly sort of soothing with its mellow humming sound. My little boy has been vacuuming the place since he pulled it out of the box. I can see why some people were saying the hose is a bit cheap or flimsy but it has held up so far and it has been WELL played with already. Overall very satisfied and will order a second one soon since my oldest now wants one to play with as well. I’m going to have the cleanest floors in town soon!!

I'm certainly regretting the purchase of this product for my son, just shy of 3 y.o.. I was surprised at the size of it, quite small, certainly toy size, nowhere near "real", and much smaller than expected. My son, who is average height, cannot stand and vacuum without yanking the vaccuum over because the hose and attachments are too short. The latches which connect the top lid of the vaccuum to the base, basically have nothing to latch onto, so son pulls the vaccuum apart when he uses it and S.O. And I do the same when we grab the handle to try to move the whole unit out of the way. The floor attachment at the end of the hose does not stay on, the rest of the attachments do not attach/come-apart in a child-friendly way. Once the toy is put together, the only "attachments" left to play with, are a mini dust pan and brush. If you use your imagination, you could think the vacuum is suctioning, but really it is just the static of the plastic moving against a nylon carpet. The whole toy in general, is cheap and unsubstantial. I bought this product based on the fairly positive reviews, and honestly I'm now stunned by them. The negatives of this toy far outweigh the positives and if I had bought it at a store, I would return it in a second, it's not worth the hassle to ship back.

My son loved his toy vaccum.. at first we thought the little tubes that attach wouldn’t stay on good but then I looked closer an realized you have to twist them an lock it in place after that it worked great.. my son is only disappointed that it doesn’t have hardly any suction power it barely will suck up dust lol that’s the only issue we had. I wish I had just found a mini shock vac that would really work.. it’s a great toy but my boy likes to clean up messes and he was sad it wouldn’t suction up any dirt.. it’s a cute toy though lol

Bought this for my son for Christmas because he is obsessed with vacuums and Henry's. I had read the reviews so I knew what I was getting in to. It is fairly small. It does actually vacuum, but its no where near an adult vacuums suction. The attachment pieces do disassemble a lot while being used, which frustrates my son. The pieces have notches that "lock" once turned, but again it's not quality. It'd be nice to see a new version come out with better holding attachments AND come bigger in size.

my 3.5 year old son has loved his Henry since he was 18 months old. The suction is adequate for small crumbs and the design is great but the quality is kinda awful. The prices come apart as you use it and things break easily. The hose is thin plastic and kinks up with normal movement. BUT! If you get a buttload of electrical tape you can turn this mediocre toy into a lasting item. I tightly wrapped electrical tape around all the joints connecting the the tubing which prevents it from falling apart as it's moved around. I had tried superglue but the bottom price broke off above the glue. I used electrical tape to reattach it. I also coated the hose in electrical tape to give it more integrity and reduce kinking. It's not pretty but it works and my son is happy

Got this to get my son to leave his grandpas shop vac alone. Definitely worth the investment if you have a little one that is obsessed with vacuuming.

I bought this for my 3 year old grand son who loves to vacuum. He played with this non stopand was just over the moon with it. Really worth getting. And it has suction that picks up light things.Betty

My 2 year old son is obsessed with this! He was constantly trying to play with our shop vac so he got this for Christmas and absoluly adores it! It’s really well made and makes a sound like a vacuum. Love this!
