The buzz from the grinder is minimal and my dogs were not bothered by it after a couple minutes introduction. The grinder has adjustable power and is wonderfully fast and efficient. Both my dogs had their nails trimmed smoothly in just a few minutes which greatly pleased both them and me. I followed up with enthusiastic compliments and a special treat for them, which will make their next nail trim even a more pleasant experience. My dogs do love their special treats and will remember, no problem there.

Much quieter than a dremel is the big plus. 20 lb yorkie type tolerates it pretty well. My dog has longer hair and our old trimmer, with no safety cap ran the risk of catching long ear hair. At first I was apprehensive about using the safety cap with the small hole for nails. But the led lights are such a help. The battery does seem to drain quickly and charge slowly. However it lasts to do all the nails with no problem. I've had it for 3 months and used it several times. Very comfortable in the hand as well. For the price I'm super happy with it. It has not been a wrestling match to do the nails with it being much quieter. And it is much safer with the safety cap. The diamond grinder is much more efficient than the sand paper type attachments. I would buy it again.

Had it for a year now and still files nails like it’s brand new! It’s not super loud and it’s great even for filing large breed nails. I have a Doberman and it does a great job at filing his nails. The battery is durable and will last you a couple days before you have to charge it.

Works great, LOVE that it's rechargeable. I get two (or more) nail trimming sessions from one charge, and charging is easy. I recharge overnight as it does take a bit if the battery is low. There are 6 speeds, we usually use #3 for our 45 lb hound mix. Our dog doesn't seem to mind the sound or feel - as long as he's distracted enough with his lick pad! The opening on the guard was too small for our pup's nails, so my husband used a Dremmel to make it a little bigger and it's perfect (I am reluctant to take the guard completely off). It comes with a nice cover when not in use. The lights on it are somewhat helpful, but I use a headlamp to get light where I really need it anyway.

I have 4 Yorkies who HATE their nails cut. I've been using the Casfuy 6-Speed Dog Nail Grinder for several months and it's now so much easier for me to trim their nails. I didn't want to write a review until I was sure of the quality and function. I can now say my dogs like it so much better than nail cutters or the dremel grinder. It's durable and powerful yet quiet. I love that it has a light and I can see how far down to trim their nails so I can cut them as short as possible without the bleeding. Oh, and I can purchase grinder head replacements if/when needed. This is such an awesome tool.

Loved the quiet operation and balance of the cordless tool. I have a 60 lb standard poodle with large nails. She has not been crazy about having her nails clipped or ground. With the guard on the tool, I found it easy to isolate the toes and take a small amount off each nail through the small guard hole. It was fast and efficient. Less time means a happier dog willing to have a more frequent clip. I'll do the job more often and get her nails in really good shape with this tool. Wish I had bought it sooner,

Buy one of these for your medium/large dogs!!! These are a LIFE changer when it comes to clipping your dogs nails. It’s quick and efficient and doesn’t crack your dogs nails like traditional clippers which immensely increases your dogs comfort. Is a good design, durable and easy size to hold, use and recharge- especially with the built in light. Very easy to use and are very durable as I’ve had this for about a year and it still works perfectly. My Staffie is so good about using this and it is ESSENTIAL for us as he has gotten several cracked nails from being active, digging and playing so we’ve learned our lesson in keeping short and healthy nails. This is so quick to use and touch up those nails to keep them from cracking.***HOWEVER I do not recommend using these on small dogs. When trying to use it for my chihuahua her nail got pulled under the plastic cap. It didn’t hurt her but of course scared her and I just feel that smaller dogs need a smaller tool or clippers actually work well as their nails are not nearly as thick.

After researching many different nail grinders I went with this one, hoping for the best. It worked well for a couple weeks, then really started to go down hill. For reference, I have two medium size dogs (30-40 lbs).Pros: Quiet, if used on setting 1 or 2. However, this really only works for small dogs, or cutting nails very slowly. My one dog, that hates getting her nails trimmed, did slowly warm up to this, to the point where I could do 2-3 nails without a break. But this was only on setting 1-2. The light is helpful to see the nails better. Seemed to have a decent amount of power. Easy to turn on/off.Cons: Each time I used it it seemed to die faster. In the beginning I could use it for 15-20 min before it would lose power. After using 10 times it started to die much faster. Most recently charged it to a full green light, used it to trim 2 nails (less than 5 minutes) on setting 2 and it was already dying. The worst part is the charging. Once dead I would have to charge it for 2-4 hours to get to a full charge. The higher settings are definitely not quiet. The other downside is that the hair around the pups toes can get caught in the grinder if you're not careful. Definitely trim around the nails first.I wish I'd had a better experience. I wanted to like this grinder. Maybe mine was defective? For the price, it's worth a try.

I have two yorkies. One acts as though I’m trying to kill him if I bring out the nail clippers. Bought this tool last week. Spent some time with treats and the tool just getting them used to the sound & light. Last night decided to try & grind their nails. My plan was to just do one paw each & ended up doing all four. My sensitive boy didn’t love it but he tolerated it really well. Wry happy with this purchase. Was easy to use, not too loud, works well & will save me a lot of money at the groomers & my boys nails will be better cared for.
