I inherited my late father’s banjo after he died three years ago. This was the same instrument I first learned to play when I was 6 years old. The bridge had been a single piece of what appears to have been walnut, and it finally split after more than 45 years; I needed a replacement. This bridge, while not exactly the same style as the original, is just as effective and free of burrs and splits like the old one; the old banjo now plays like I remembered from my childhood.

Does the job on a tenor banjo. Not much else to say. Good quality

Worked perfectly. Had to sand a little off the bottom to get good action, but that has nothing to do with the quality of this bridge, which seem very high to me. recommend.

Nice piece, needed a tiny bit of file n the D string, but I may be too fussy lol.

Looks and measures identical to the stock bridge on my Gold Tone except for the string spacing. The spacing of the Gold Tone bridge from string 1 (D) to string 5 (G) is 1.715". The spacing on these measure 1.675" from string 1 to string 5. This may not be noticeable to many players, but for some, it could take a few days to get used to the slightly narrower spacing. It's the classic construction. Maple with an ebony tip, and it's a great deal for a bridge made from these woods.
