I purchased these and wore them just a few times and the threads started unraveling as shown in the picture. I've owned many pairs of knee warmers from different brands and have never had this happen never mind with such minimal usage. I used the Amazon tool to contact the seller and got no reply. If you decide to purchase these do not go through Tour Cycling.

I love to use knee warmers for cool mornings (50-65 degrees f), and these things fit the bill - they can be worn either down below your calves or midway - which is where i like them - just to give my knee a bit of warmth but not my lower legs, which are fine in the cold; but the thing is, these things are weird. I have some thermoflex 1 knee warmers - which are great for colder days, and they're very warm, but they go down too far - all the way to my ankle - so I only use them when it's below 50. I have some old Pearl Izumi knee warmers that were great, but they're old and worn, so to replace them I got these pro seamless knee warmers to match my Castelli kit.First thing I noticed is that they aren't made out of the usual lycra - they're created from what seems like cycling sock material. They're knit. Basically like big black cycling socks for your knees.Good thing is they're also fitted to your legs, so they're bent and have a pivot point in the center - which is nice, so they never bunch up. Only drawback I can see is that the material doesn't match the lycra on your shorts, so they stand out like an accessory. Again - a sock on your knee. Also, the Castelli logo seems to be painted on, so I don't expect that to last, and knowing how cycling socks eventually stretch out and lose elasticity, I worry about their longevity. But for now they fit my needs. Hope they last a season or two. Castelli stuff is cool and stylish but not always as durable as others (the Pearls lasted me 15 years!). But I'm all Castelli these days, so, you know, no cross branding!

Love Castelli gear, but after just a few rides the top seam came unraveled. This is a high stress area that should be a bit more reinforced.

I am a fan of Castelli and my current knee covers from the same Italian company are now bare--and they were more expensive than these. This is a value buy and just right
