I absolutely love this set of 120 watercolor pencils.I love the way they are packaged in a zippered case with 'pages' of coordinated colors.The pencils themselves are a very good quality for use. While a great value for the price, the pencils also offer beautiful pigmented color, some very vibrant, some softer than others, but useful when building color.There are many reviews on YouTube worth watching, and I am sure you will be pleased.It came with two sketchpads to get you started.Overall I am very excited to have this set, and I believe they would make a beautiful holiday gift for the budding artist in your family, as well as a birthday gift, or for use as a hobby that the entire family can share together.

This set is awesome- the variety of colors is great- the coverage is great- and they simplify watercolor painting by allowing you to use the pencil to draw in shapes then add a touch of water with a brush and magic happens! Great buy and highly recommend!

Easy to use, pencils are organized in the case so that it is easy to find the color that you need. Quality is excellent which is normal for Castle products. I have the regular colored pencils that I bought several years ago and love them also.

These are great, super high quality and great variety of interesting colors! Love the case that keeps them organized. Taking away only one star cause one of the pencils was broken and there was some marks in the case as if it had been used before. Not the end of the world if it was a return but shouldn’t have come with a broken pencil. Otherwise very impressed

Despite of the fact that I’m a big fan of the Castle Arts pencils I was very disappointed by this set from the very beginning. All my pages coloured with them looked like a 5 years old child drawing. So I just resigned myself that I wasted my money. But once I watched a tutorial how to use watercolor pencils most effectively. And it was a game changer to me! The key to success is to use a palette! In that case you will be able to control the amount of color you are going to apply. So now it is so easy to complete the pages and enjoy every second of the process! Highly recommend! Don’t hesitate to buy! You will enjoy them as much as I do!

What not to love! I take these on the fly in my backpack! I can get my colors down for my studies and when I get back to the studio I can decide what I’m doing next! They are great for making small paintings and cards.

I absolutely love these pencils. I also have the pastel set and the metallic set and have been very satisfied with my purchase. I have read other reviews that say these sets look used when opened for the first time I don't think that's the case. When mine arrived, I found that there were indeed marks on the inside of the cases but not from being used but because of shipping. Things move around and there are slight pencil marks, but everything was new. LOVE THESE PENCILS

the colors are beautiful but please put a fragile sticker on the packaging or something. I'm losing half off my pencil with sharpening because the point keeps breaking
