Each filter features a duo-density polyester pad that catches hair and debris, while the carbon removes bad tastes and odors from the water making it more appealing to drink. Filters help extend the life of your fountain and pump and should be replaced every 2 to 4 weeks.
Warm Tips
Before replacing the filter, please soak the filter in water for 3 minutes and then rinse filter thoroughly with running water.

It works great. Animals used it right away. Realized I could refill with a jug of water and a funnel by pulling the flower out. Change the filter and clean well once a week. Filter really holds a lot. I have dogs and cats. Only problem is I have to refill at least twice a day. I have mine sitting on a waterproof mat to prevent floor damage.

These fit perfectly into my cats water fountain. Great value for the amount you get. I wish there was a indicator on when these go bad though because sometimes it's a month and others it can be longer.

The water filter is a designed better then the orginal filter. The pump filter is denser keeping smaller particles out of the pump.
