Bought this and arrived on time with no issues. Installed on wix 24763 mount. I'm mentioning this cause its pain to find mounts for different filters sometimes so hopefully that saves someone 30min looking all over internet.Filter seems to be working good, I installed mine on lml duramax and decided to go inline by the heater core. Worst thing happens should it get clogged is loss of heat and obviously that's the cause. Good sign is also filter isnt hot. I'll submit another review in few months with filter cut open and some photos of what was inside. Truck is pretty low miles about 16k so it's never had its coolant changed yet. Should be interesting.

I have an aftermarket coolant filter setup on my 2018 dodge ram. I added the kit after my heater core got plugged up and stopped working very well. After two filter changes my heater core seems to be working better than it was prior. So money well spent. Because replacing the heater core in our trucks is a job itself!

How does one review a filter. I guess it works who really knows. I feel like the CAT brand is a good one. But seriously who knows. I would probably go with WIX next time solely based on price.

My coolant filter kit came with a wix filter which is longer than this cat filter.This filter is more expensive but fits in the location a lot better than the WIX one

In the heading the seller has in brackets a set of 4 after receiving only 1 filter I contacted the seller for clarification. The seller says it's clearly just 1 filter in the heading so anyone thinking they scored a deal beware this is a single filter not 4 for this price I would have bought cheaper locally
