The kit has lots of thread colors, the speedweave thingie is functional but a little clunky, the needles aren't thin enough to be helpful. But it's decent for the price and all of the thread colors are a nice bonus.

Like the kit.Somewhat small and compact. You need be dexterous to use.NO INSTRUCTIONS with kit- have to go back online and watch video.

I brought this to repair some jeans. There were no instructions on how to use anything in the kit. Not very helpful.

Love the kit, has everything you could need for small darning projects. Well, except at least some basic instruction/how-to. Would be nice if they enclosed like a one page sheet on how to use it with possible project ideas.Liked it so much that at least three people in the family will be getting them for their birthday/XMas.

I was expecting something that would assist in darning fabric. What I got was something that made (too small of) a woven patch to go on top of fabric. The idea of the Speed Weve appeals to me but in practice it's a bit of a flop. The loom itself is cheaply made and the hooks get jammed up if you don't use the push mechanism just so.The instructions provided didn't make sense to me until after I found understandable information from someone on the web.The mushroom and the embroidery floss included in the kit are nice enough but don't make up for my disappointment with the rest of the kit.

Love this kit, a good starter to learn. Would have given it 5 stars except instructions are printed on the back of the brown cardboard kit box and near on impossible to read. I had to go online and find where someone has written out the instructions and offered the instructions as a free .pdf file otherwise could not read the box at all. Liked that the kit has everything needed to learn, all the tools, thread, etc. I like that I didn't have to figure out all the things needed and buy separate, that this was inclusive.

Absence de mode d'emploi sauf 2 schémas sommaires au dos de la boite qui expliquent le mouvement des crochets. L'utilisation est toutefois simple quand on se réfère à des tutos. Ceux de DMC sont biens fait notamment pour les finitions.

Easy to follow instructions. So many embroidery thread colours. Not bad for a first attempt at repair of a large heel hole. Have mended all my socks now and moving on to holey sweaters, tears in sheets, etc. very happy with this product.
