I own a small belt sander. I live in the very arid Arizona environment. The garage is not insulated nor air-conditioned. The belt sander is stored in the garage due to sawdust, wood chips and other debris fro wood working. I purchased the capacitor. The only problem, + and - where not marked on the capacitor leads. I used a multi-meter to determine polarity. I connected the capacitor to the belt sander and tested polarity at each step of connecting the wires. The electric motor started without problem. The only problem I encountered was fitting the capacitor into the small enclosure holding the capacitor, swith and wiring. This problem was quickly corrected! The small belt sander now works properly.

It was delivered quickly. It was proper size which fit perfectly. The machine now works as it should. This simple and inexpensive correction saved us expensive shop repairs or the cost of replacing the unit.

8 yr old pool cover pump overheated due to icing. Took a chance and fixed it myself. Due to the capacitor costing $14 and the new pump costing $300 now I can bye more Fireball!!!!! Thanks!

Purchased 4 of these. Had some old motor capacitors, one burned out and others were running hot. These run cool. They are not polarized so you can connect them randomly.
