Replaced damaged part (melted) original for Hunter 3 speed fan. I tinned the wires with soldering iron to make it easier to insert into switch contacts, but can be installed as is after twisting stranded wires. One grey wire goes to wire bundle. I cut and stripped the original grey wire and attached it to this part's grey wire with an orange wire nut. The wire nut needs to be obtained seperately. I used a small drill bit to remove original wires from switch. The pointed end of a steak knive will also work for removing old wires from switch.
