When you try to push and turn the bulb into the socket, the "glass" bulb portion spins as it is apparently not fused well to the base of the bulb. Without great care, this will twist the bulb in half. EDIT: Also, one bulb was completely unusable as the tiny "pin" on the side of the bulb was deformed and would not catch in the socket.

Bulb would not fit into socket. Prongs on metal casing too short.
