I bought 20pc Purple LED's for our 2005 Chevy Trailblazer. In spite of what Amazon's compatibility checker says, these DO work for my vehicle. I tested all LED's prior to installation by touching them on a 9v battery, they all worked. NOTE: LED's are polarity sensitive unlike regular bulbs. These have a longer lead which is the +, in addition there is + & - underneath on the bottom of the LED. Pretty straight forward. If you go to install them and they don't light up, you have them backward plain and simple. I see others comments saying they got shipped dead LED's. It CAN happen but it's slim. The only other way to kill them is to overheat them to death with the solder iron. 2 seconds, zip zap and done, don't hold the iron on them forever. You'll trash the LED and possibly the circuit boards. To test the LED's do what I said earlier and touch them on a 9v battery, Long lead is positive, short lead is negative. Put them on the battery the same way and they will light up.TIP: While you have your dash cluster open to install new LED's, take the opportunity to buy new "Gauge Stepper Motors" and put those on too. It's easy as pie and they are very inexpensive. Less that $10 to do them all and your gauges will look and work like new. Plenty of YouTube videos on the procedure as well as the LED's. Follow the procedure to the letter and you won't have any issues. You can also order the steppers right here on Amazon too.

Solder them all into place 05 Sierra gauge cluster, climate control, four-wheel drive controls, looked really good for a while, One day they started flickering, I had some white ones left over, I only needed two, so changed the red out for white,( which is a blue color by the way because of cluster itself) anyway white burned out also. so once I find good lights, that will be the third time soldering all these little lights in place, on the very expensive gauge cluster. thankfully haven't ruined it yet... but I do not recommend these lights! With the engine running the truck is sitting at 14.5 volts maybe that's too much power for them, so there's a chance it's user error. If they wouldn't have burned out they were very nice when it was first done.

These leds are bright and dimable, but i gave only a 2 star because the packaging was ambiguous labeling 2 different colors, and therefore i received the wrong color.
