I like over the knit socks used for years. These are pretty thin. The white ones are see through so logo on shin guards show through. Worn 3 times and been comfy. Bought a black and a white pair. The black pair for a hole after 1 skate but not sure if someone coming over the boards caught me with their skate. No holes on white pair after couple times. Hopefully they hold up. Price was right so thought I'd give em a try
