tried this cdi but it was the other it was the small cdi box that fixed it had to change both cdi boxes to salve no spark problem no why to test cdi box does any body no a why to test cdi boxes with volt meter would recommend cdi box

This module actually worked on my 1990 fourtrax 300. This was the fourth manufacturer that I tried. All of the others plugged in, but did not produce spark. My machine has been back up and running for 3 weeks now.

Installed on my TRX300FW, and had no spark.Installed an OEM CDI from a friend, and it worked just fine.Now I get to return this and try again. Trying a different brand next.
