I'm hoping these will prevent the super sweaty nature of my armored jacket. I am swapping out the pads with these breathable pads. I hope it will work. I'm pretty sure it will because the old pads were just solid plastic with no ventilation at all. You could tell too. On a warm day you would be sweating. The shell of my jacket has lots of vents but that wasn't happening because my old armor was stopping it.

Anyone that rides motorcycles knows that a good jacket with good armor is important for your daily rides. I've been riding for years and while I have many jackets for different seasons, I only have 1 that has all the armor that was included (elbows, shoulders, back). I have a really nice leather jacket that didn't include any armor, so I figured I'd give this set a try.Elbow and shoulder pads fit perfectly. The back pad is the only one I had trouble with. It is quite large. Too large for any of my 4 moto jackets. Also too large for my leathers. Mind you, I'm an XXL. I finally opted to trim it down to fit my leather jacket and that worked out okay.The armor has a good, solid cushioning to it. The vents are excellent for airflow. The flexibility is right where it should be to move with your body.Overall, I'd consider this to be just as good as any other CE2 armor pads that I've used in the past. My only gripe is with the back pad being far too big. Other than that, its quality armor at a good price.

So I’m gonna be honest this is a really nice pad kit. I used it in both my icon and Joe rocket and they fit well and matched up pretty decently. The padding is really nice and thick and is comfortable. One downside is like most of these they will hold your body heat in and you will sweat. They are easily bendable, so placing them in the pocket was not too much of a challenge. Overall writing with this for me is an added bit of safety as I even doubled up on the elbow pads.

These are good for adding to my dirt bike jacket. They’re lightweight and very breathable. A lot of padding. But it’s like a gel, so good for absorbing impact but not so great at preventing punctures. Fit well in a standard jacket with pockets for pads.

I got the full-size level 2 set. the design and material are ripoff d3o, although the material is firmer than the real thing. in my experience this makes it more prone to cracking/tearing over time but also means it should perform to its rating. the back panel's design allows a lot of flex and is less likely to tear. breathability isn't great but it's better than solid armor. overall, this is a reasonably comfortable, full-coverage CE level 2 armor set at a solid price.

Obviously can’t really speak to its actual protective abilities without using it in a crash, and obviously hope that it will never come to that…However… in terms of how it feels, this is not bad. It’s got that firm when hit, soft when relaxed type of material that I’ve seen in some premium kids knee pads. That’s great bc it makes it more comfortable to wear, flexible to move around in, and lets be real, it only protects you if you wear it…The honeycomb design also helps with airflow, but everything is awful in the summer, so be prepared to sweat like crazy then anyway… for the rest of the year, this feels pretty good.The fit depends on your jacket tbh, bc if their pockets are stitched in the wrong place, it doesn’t matter how nice the pads are, it will still be crappy.Just make sure you have a nice jacket that fits you and that is well ventilated. These pads definitely feel more flexible than the pads that come with most generic jackets, and as I said before the soft when relaxed firm when stressed nature of the material is a good sign.

…..and the quality seems pretty decent. Is it as good as the name brand armor out there? I have no idea, and I do NOT want to comparison test it either!What it is is better than nothing and quite possibly as good as you would hope for, especially at this price point.
