Rubbing plates are sets of black plastic textured material that can be used to transfer designs to fabric. I bought these for my prekinder class to use as part of their experiences in art center. It’s so much fun to see their delighted expressions as the texture appears as they rub crayons across their papers with their choice of texture plates underneath.The textures are interesting, the plates are just big enough for a large rubbing or small enough to easily move. Price point is great

The rubbing plates are just what I expected. They work fine and the designs are great. The heavy plactic is of good quality and the rubbing plates arrived by mail quickly. I would recommend these to all crafters or artists.

very versitile, I use these with my Gelli monoprinting, papercasting and to press into my ceramics clay. These are durable, washable and moderately flexible. If I have anything sticky (clay, glues, adhesives a quick squirt with vegetable oil or WD-40 does the trick and doesn't damage the tile)

A quick way to make rubbings. I have tried them with artist crayons and paint scraped using an old credit card. I may purchase more of them.
