Your cart is empty.T-Adapter for 8” EdgeHD optical tube threads onto the rear cell. This T-Adapter allows you to attach your 35mm DSLR camera to the prime focus of your EdgeHD telescope. This arrangement is used for terrestrial photography and short exposure lunar and planetary photography. It can also be used for long exposure deep-sky photography when using a separate guidescope. Both a T-Adapter and T-Ring are required to mount a DSLR camera to your instrument.

Not much to write for a piece of a metal tube, but it is built with precision tolerance. Attaching a camera with this to the telescope feels sturdy and no chance of something falling off. I would have preferred this could double as a tube that can accommodate an eyepiece but that is another type and this is not it. Great for using a camera to photograph objects that are larger and not really for star photography.

There's not much to review here. It attaches and works for my Nikon. It has the correct distance for your focal length even with a focal reducer.

I have not had any opportunity to use this yet (clouds and warm or clear and bitter cold!). The feel and quality of this are very nice and better than expected. I did attach it and fit is perfect and love the orange ring to match my Edge 800. I also love that they made one specifically for my telescope so that my image train should be perfect. I also love that they made it two piece so you can unscrew it to shorten it for if you use the hyperstar lens with your Fastar assembly to make your image train again be ideal without spacers. Like I said I haven't tried it for its purpose yet but if it performs as it should, it is 5 star. If not, I'll be back!

Screws right onto my .7 focal reducer, and any M42x0.75 extension tubes fit nicely for any backfocus requirements you might need.Edit. Recieved my ZWO ASI 294 MC PRO camera and it screwed right to the T adapter right side up the 1st time.... very happy

Used this to attach a relatively heavy Nikon D750 (need the Nikon T-Ring) to my 8" Edge HD. First time out got a shot of Pluto and then a shot of Neptune. On enlargement of Neptune, its moon Triton popped into the picture. Adapter is solid, well built. Very pleased.

These help me easily get the necessary backfocus with my scope. I use them with or without the reducer and they work fantastic. I guess everyone who images with a celestron SCT needs this.

I bought this hoping it would fit on my Celestron nextstar 8SE and it does! T ring fits perfect with my Canon 2000D camera. very sturdy . The tightening ring is orange colored as the 8SE tube looks great.
