These flat-field eyepieces were designed to provide an ultra-sharp, ultra-clear, crisp image from the center all the way to the edge of the field of view. The 10mm Ultima Edge eyepiece features fully multi-coated optics and a 5-element lens design, maximizing light transmission.
The Ultima Edge 10mm has a generous 60° field of view, perfect for viewing planets, stars and the Moon’s surface. This eyepiece provides high power magnification, perfect for those times when you want to get up close to smaller objects.
Body
The 10mm Ultima Edge eyepiece’s main housing is machined from high grade aluminum with a black anodized outer surface.
Its 1.25" mounting barrel is internally threaded to accept threaded to accept standard 1.25" filters and adapters. It is compatible with 1.25” star diagonals and focusers. On the exterior of the eyepiece, you will find a uniquely designed, molded rubber grip ring for non-slip handling during observing sessions, even if you have gloves on.
Viewing through the 10mm Ultima Edge eyepiece is comfortable for both eyeglass wearers and non-eyeglass wearers alike, thanks to the fold-down rubber eyecups and long eye relief of 16mm.

With a set of Ultima Edge eyepieces in your kit, you'll be able to enjoy a wide range of high and low power views—and switch between them quickly and easily. NOTE: Ultima Edge 24mm is not a parfocal eyepiece. Ultima Edge eyepieces are only parfocal within the line and do not maintain focus when swapped with parfocal eyepieces from other brands or series.

I'm pleased with the field of view and sharpness of this eyepiece. It is solidly built with good eye relief. I like the feel of the knurled focus ring. Well worth the modest price.

This is a very nice eyepiece. I use it in a 10 inch Apertura reflector for my wide field eyepiece and as a finder eyepiece. It is bright and sharp with excellent eye relief. My other eyepieces for this scope are Televue and this eyepiece holds it own with the others.

This is a good eyepiece, contrast, brightness, flat to edge, etc. It is, I think, overpriced for what it is.

Keep in mind that this is a similar eyepiece that APM have. It makes viewing much more pleasant than the stock 30mm GSO eyepiece that came with the AD12 dob.There’s significant reduction in coma but at the last 15% of the outer area, there’s slight coma but it’s only noticeable if you use a camera or really paid attention.This is my final eyepiece for the 2†set. I have the 20mm XWA and now this guy's. It’s practically love at first sight for me.Do I recommend it? If and only if you’re going to upgrade to it from the original eyepiece. If you’re looking for the best, move on.What I don’t like? The contrast isn’t as good as I’d expect from what I read. My 10mm Delos is far better in contrast but there is a higher price comparison.Attached is a photo taken from my AD12 and an iPhone 13 pro with this newly bought eyepiece. It’s edited via phone app with a 5sec exposure.

Love these Products! I have this and also the 18mm Ultima Edge. My favorite eyepieces at this time. Very nice and clear views even in a moderate light polished area. I will definitely recommend this product to any amateur or even beginner astronomer. Worth every penny!

I took this glass out on a full moon sky and was pleasantly surprised by its great optics. However after use and removal from the focuser I realized a glass element had fallen out of it.Turns out that the thread for filters on this eyepiece also acts as the glass retainer. Thus if you screw on a moon filter for example and you unscrew tbe moon filter after viewing, there is a possibility that your glass retainer thread will be unscrewed instead leaving your glass element vulnerable to falling out.

I received a totally different piece and had to order a replacement.. Amazon was very easy to deal with.. eyepiece is great.. very sturdy.. well made… you can feel the quality difference… I have used it a few times and I find a big difference… sharper view..

CELESTRON Ultima Edge - 24mm Flat Field Eyepiece - 1.25"This is an absolutely outstanding eyepiece . It has become my go-to eyepiece. It isn't that expensive to break the bank but it is easily my recommendation for your very first decent quality eyepiece for telescopes. Of course this is not a Tel Vue... But if you're someone like me who has a budget telescope but want a really good all round daily driver, that isn't entry level budget toy like eyepieces, I can easily recommend this as your first eyepiece.I am a glasses wearing individual and the eye relief is fantastic.

Ocular de bastante calidad, 8 elementos para una captación óptima de la luz, confortable para visual y ofrece unas vistas muy buenas gracias a su campo de visión de 65° y al ser de campo ultra plano los bordes de la imagen no se deforman. Algo caro pero muy recomendable, anexo una foto de la Nebulosa de Orion que tomé con el celular a través de este ocular.

Waited for this 24mm impatiently, and now I can see this eyepiece is worth every penny. Incredible contrast, and the field of view offers a clear, large patch of sky. Perfect addition to my eyepiece lineup!
