I was a little hesitant when I first put these on because they had a tinny sound when my cello tends to have a very warm tone. But after playing on them for a bit and giving them a chance to get broken in, I'm very happy with them. They sound clear and bright, without compromising the warmth. Absolutely would recommend, especially given the price.

We live in a rural area and cello strings are readily available. This being said, after that testy a string broke and we had to order some in, now we don’t go without them. We keep an extra set so if something happens, we have a replacement ready.

Strings are a 2/10. The D string began to Frey on the first week. They don't sound good i would save up and buy some.$60 preludes if you want something decent enough.

These strings sound horrible. Especially the A-string, that sounds very buzzy like a kazoo.I ordered 2 new sets of the strings, but received 1 new set and 1 used.Did not have time to return, had to install them on student's cellos.

I'm only a beginner and can tell that the sound coming from the A-string I just replaced doesn't sound right but I'm willing to put up with it since I've called every single music store within a 20 km radius and no one had cello strings in stock.

Do not recommend. Violinist couldn't get these on for student as they're too cheaply made.
