Centerforce provides innovative leadership in clutch technology by creating patented processes like their ball bearing pressure plate designs. When possible, Centerforce uses ball bearings as a fulcrum (pivot) point for the pressure plate diaphragm spring. By utilizing this unique system, Centerforce can increase clutch holding-capacity and keep the pedal effort low. This also allows Centerforce to increase the quality and repeatability of each clutch developed with this process. Centerforce offers multi-level product lines allowing customers to choose a performance clutch that matches their application and driving style. Centerforce clutch assemblies are designed as an improved OE-style, direct bolt-in replacement performance clutch. The unique Centerforce design allows for easy pedal effort and everyday drivability, while offering increased holding-capacity for maximum performance. Centerforce engineers evaluate each assembly and apply our patented processes to increase the clutches holding-capacity and performance.

Replaced with a clutch job with no issues. 10k miles on the input shaft so far and no issues to speak of. Centerforce is a proper aftermarket company with OE quality parts.

I previously ordered this before, then my clutch went out. It sounded like a pilot bearing issue so I was about to be very disappointed. But nope turns out one of my clutch disc hub splines stripped out and was riding on my input shaft. It sounded exactly like a bad pilot bearing. Anyway the old bearing still looked fantastic so I bought another. Great value pilot bearing imo.

If your transmission makes a grinding noise when you push the clutch in then this is likely the culprit. It's a pain because you have to pull the whole trans and the clutch pressure plate, but if you are mechanically inclined it can be done in your garage with the car up on jack stands. While down there, I recommend replacing the slave cylinder, or at least springing for the Tick Remote Clutch SPEEDBleeder. If you have ever had to bleed your clutch, you will know what a pain that can be.Also, to get this thing out, go to a local autoparts store and rent their "Blind hole bearing puller" They charge a deposit, but you get it all back when you return it. When using the bearing puller, do not over tighten it inside the bearing, just get it tight enough to grip the bearing. If you get it to tight, you will never get it out. Once you go to put the new one in, get a large socket, and place the flat end against the bearing and carefully beat it in as straight as possible using a small sledge. Try not to get it crooked, or it makes it that much harder.
