I received this item free as an Amazon Vine reviewer and this is my honest review. I only review items I will actually use, and use I do, prior to writing a review.I enjoy detailing my SUV and try to do it weekly. One of the areas I pay special attention to is the tires as I like a well dressed tire. I have tried different applicators including the pad and brush style but never liked the lack of control and precision these style applicators offered. I found the dressing got on the wheels too, and not just the tires.Enter the Cerakote Foam Applicator Pad. My first impression was how nice the pad felt in my hand. The top orangish part is firm and easy to grip and the foam underneath is soft enough to apply the tire dressing but stiff enough to allow precise, controlled application (pictured). I sprayed the dressing directly onto the applicator and was able to precisely apply it to the tire right up to the rim without any of it getting onto the rim itself (pictured). The results speak for themselves, look at this sexy tire (pictured).Here is another winner from Cerakote and I am happy to add this to my weekly detail routine. And, just in case you are curious, I threw away all the other various applicators I had as this Cerakote is my new go to.As I do at the end of all my reviews, I ask myself if I would actually purchase this item. Yes, I would buy these and will but another set once these 3 wear out.

I've bought Cerakote items a few times on Amazon and have always been impressed with the quality. These foam applicators are no different. Great value for three of them and they effortlessly apply tire dressing to my tires. No puddled grease spots or anything. Very happy!

I got these foam applicator pads because I wanted to be able to use my liquid tire shine on my tires, but previously was just using an old rag that made application messy. These tire applicators are soft, but firm enough to hold their shape, I apply a stripe of tire shine on the pad itself, then rub the pad against the outside tire in a fluid motion. This makes application much easier and cleaner. I do recommend putting these in a plastic bag after you're done, as they will hold onto any dirt/grease/etc. that remains on them and can make a mess if you're not careful.

I have been using the Cerakote Tire Coating for a year now and i love the way it performs, when you buy the box it comes with one of these foam applicators but over time they degrade and wear out. This 3 pack is perfect for someone who loves to keep their tires dressed and looking sharp. The foam is nice and medium density and it cleans really well under a sink after each application to keep it ready for the next application. Highly recommend Cerakote’s Tire Coat as well.

This is a very versatile application sponge block.The honeycombed side works great for leather and tire dressings. After use, if kept sealed in a plastic bag, it can be used over and over again for easily a year of regular use.Inverted, the topside has been useful along with a no-nap microfiber (like for cleaning eyeglasses) to apply ceramic coatings. Not much of the ceramic coating is lost by seeping in to the block due to its higher density on this side.The block has good dimensions to fill the hand and provide a controllable, yet maneuverable grip during the application.This applicator can certainly be recommended.

I think most people will use these for car tires and car detailing work.For that purpose these are good and above average compared to others i have used. The foam part is typical and normal and consistent with others........meaning it will work well on smooth surfaces, etc. If you need to use these on surfaces that have bumps or things that stick out, the foam will start to get damaged fairly quickly. Meaning the foam parts that you use to apply wax or cleaner are very standard and normal.......nothing special. These pads to have a good handle however. They fit well in your hand and give you leverage to maneuver these pads easily while cleaning or applying something. The size is very nice too.I personally use these to apply conditioner to Leather products (couch, seats, etc). Because the leather is not hard, these pads do not get damaged and shred off while using on softer surfaces. I do like them for that application.Overall........above average to good pads. Recommended.
