It's a small set, but for just two people it's perfect. I don't use sugar, but my brother does and the sugar keeper held enough for his morning coffee for nearly a month. The creamer is a little small, but no big deal for me.

I purchased this set for the holidays since it nicely matches my festive dinnerware. The creamer is on the small side, needing frequent refills and the sugar bowl is on the large side, making it very heavy to lift off the table with only one hand. I'm not a person without upper body strength, but it was hard to hold. For these reasons, I've given only 4 stars. But it is a pretty set.

I moved from my charming post-war flat (gorgeous wood floors, original fixtures, bugs, mould, rot damp, and dodgy electricity) into Captain Kirk's domestic quarters aboard the Starship Enterprise circa 1966. I was more than a little disappointed that the gleaming microwave/fan/light fixture thingie above the stove wasn't a Replicator and I'm starting to think they don't exist.My point? I'm overwhelmed by chrome and greige and sterile modernity. The rent is ridiculous so there's no budget for it but I'm determined to bring bold colour to the Enterprise, one or two pieces at a time.This sugar bowl/creamer set is well crafted, robust, fridge and dishwasher friendly. I prefer to hand wash glazed ceramics; the finish is like Teflon so it only takes a second and there's no risk of colour fade or glaze erosion.These are the perfect size for one or two people. I've found that the little spoon, though cute, is inconvenient. It holds on to the rising steam from the cup I'm ladling sugar into and hardens the sugar in the sugar bowl. This is probably not an issue for neurotypical folk and I feel a bit foolish for bringing it up but at least it's on topic, unlike the Replicator stuff.Strongly recommend...
