Never owned a sake set before so nothing to compare it to, but it cleans up well, looks great, and...holds the sake...good? It seems to do well with keeping the sake hot with the candle lit and hot water in the tub, but don't expect the tea candle to be able to heat up cold water and cold sake on its own. It comes in a soft case with foam cutouts for all of the pieces. This is a pretty great set!As an aside, the two bottles in the picture are sake that is best served cold (eww, right?) but the white bottle is some of the best I've had...and the set makes it easy to consume!

You need to fill it with hot water and use 3 candles to heat your sake. But if you enjoy hot sake, it's TOTALLY worth it!

I love this item. It works like it should, and keeps the saki at an appropriate temperature. It's a must buy if you are a saki enthusiast, or will make a great decorative conversation piece.

It’s a great kit!!!!! I do recommend using 2 tea light candles to get the water hot enough to really warm your sake and keep it warm. I’ve tried 3 candles but for me it was to hot. Over all, very pleased with this kit. My friends and I really enjoy it!!!!!

I was very happy to recieve my items ahead of time and everything was in perfect condition. No chips or cracks or other damage from shipping thanks to the padded carry case. I haven't had a chance to test the sake warmer yet, but I will hopefully get a chance soon. Everything else about this set was stellar.

Great product all around, the green in the cups is an excellent highlight. The wooden board is a little cheap; the furls were carved by hand and are a bit sloppy.
