HOW TO USE:
1.Plug the USB into your TV, set top box or a 5V USB wall adapter(adapter not included) for supply power.
2.Paste the IR emitter(small end) on the signal receiver window receiving point of the appliances(up to 10cm/3.9inch).
1.Stick the IR receiver(big end) next to TV screen (Not on the screen) orin the line of sight of your remote control (up to 10m/ 32ft).
4.Check the battery in your remote

Perfect. Took me 30 seconds to install. My sound bar is covering the ir window on my TV. So I put the receiver on top of sound bar, usb to my TV and the transmitter little thing on yhe ir wounded on my TV. Worked right away.

Used to have to open door to cabinet to use cable box. With this you close with the door and and trans.itter picks up box.

Used for a Roku Soundbar SE and a Samsung TV. Used both the power TV USB outlet and a separate USB outlet (Apple iPhone charger). Spurious signals were being sent to the Roku: sound would change, video would pause, streaming service would close, etc. when taken out of the process, no issues with the Roku and TV. No other remotes or apparent IR sources were in the room.

Since moving our Apple TV behind our feature wall, it has been difficult to get a steady signal. Since buying this gadget, it is making it much easier to control the remote from further away.Very easy to use.

It came with no instructions...i figured this out:- the tiny transmitter, take the sticky tape off of the bottom, stick this right to the front of your tv's ir receiver (yup the bottom sticky part is were the signal comes out).- Plug the USB end into a usb charger in power (NOT the TV, as the usb on the tv doesn't have power until the tv is on, so with the ir extender you cannot turn the tv on)- Put the large receiver part in clear view from where you are seated/controlingWorks perfect!

I bought this because I renovated my bedroom and wired to that the TV is floating and all the electronics is hidden on the back side of the wall on top of the closet. This I needed a repeater to operate the TV box. The TV is about 10 feet directly in front of the bed and most of the time you have to lean forward and reach out your arm for it to pickup the signal.So be aware that the distance is not as they state.
